The Noodlecrayon Story
Sub Navigation
My commitment and interest in personal and professional development started way before I set up Noodlecrayon Coaching.
As a teenager, I was a bookworm, inspired by quotes and stories that inspired me to be a better person, to live a full life. Indeed I still collect inspiring quotes and stories, and I now share them with others, through Noodle Quote Notes, and Jump!
At 15, I decided to pursue a career to utilise my natural gift of imagination, creativity and drawing and some years later qualified as a Graphic Designer and worked for several blue-chip companies.
However 10 years on it was apparent that I was utilising less than 5% of my natural gift of drawing and, as I no longer loved my job, I became a round peg in a square hole.
Redundancy was the kick that life provided me with that woke me up to the fact that I could transform my life. It allowed me to go freelance and choose the type of work I most enjoyed. Moreover it gave me the time to take a year out to travel the world, experience and learn, see how other people lived their lives and reassess as to how I would live my own.
It was a journey that not only took me across the globe, but ultimately it was a soul vacation that took me back to my true self, so in 2004 I chose to re-train as a coach, and set about redesigning my life to align with who I truly am, what is important to me, and what gave me joy.
I still remember that very 1st day of training having a “Eureka” moment. By combining who I am, my passions, skills, talents and experience, the course confirmed that this was the work I was born to do and love.
What’s more I soon found out that I was good at it because we tend to be good at things we love as the intrinsic motivation to do is already there. And I even found that my design career had not gone to waste as it still provides the invaluable skill to help clients creatively think laterally in brainstorming situations when creating alternative ways of seeing, being and doing for themselves and their lives.
Personal development to become an extraordinary human being is my passion. And undoubtedly sharing knowledge, tools, information and generating ideas to help another get where they want to be gives me the greatest buzz!
In rediscovering who I truly am, I have chosen to transform my life by creating one where I am now doing work that truly expresses who I am,and what I am really passionate about.
Life is for living and expressing who we truly are. So doesn’t it make sense to be living it fully and loving it?
